Lac des Mille Lacs August 1st

Yesterday's work was divided between preparing major pickerel fish fry (girls) and major lakeview cabin reconstruction effort (guys armed with duct tape). Today we drove to one hour by road and 40 minutes on the boat to Lac des Mille Lacs to restock freezer fish supply. We caught a dozen fish (pickerel, pike and bass) and kept the best for future fish fry feast. Tomorrow we try to escape the ONTARIO boundary and head west. O Canada here we come! No desktop to blog from for next week or so ... stay tuned.

Good to hear you are safe, taped up and ready to roll out West.

Where would you like our reunion 2007 pictures sent - home? work?

I was in to Johnny B's to have antenna installed in PathFinder. I mentioned your price quoted for your vans struts and shocks. Just like you he was surprised. His price would be approx. $800. Four hours labour plus parts. Cindy could drive you home from Johnny's and back to Meaford - sometime during one of your many days off this fall.

An amazing number of fish caught. I wish Renee was there with you as she loves to fish!

Blog Speed on your trip. Remember to visit Hootalingqua... and you might consider spending Christmas at Artic Red River...I know it sounds cold but it's really nice.

Be Cool
